5-foot-11, 165 pound two-way athlete with a slender frame produces a slower tempo that rapidly increases just prior to release. Croft throws from a ¾ arm slot with clean arm action and legs provided good power resulting in downhill force. fastball sat 72-75 mph. His curveball was 60-62 with higher tilt to it and good breaking point that resembled similar arm action as his fastball. Changeup showed arm side run with late tumbling action and excellent locating ability at 65-66 mph. Two-way prospect. In the infield he uses aggressive footwork, cutting down distance off the bat. Plays fast and showed adequate glove skills through fielding. Third baseman type. At the plate he gets things going through a knee pinch load with lower half. Hands stay quiet before accelerating the barrel through the zone on a compact, level path. Both strength and twitch are apparent to hands. Ball comes off well, showing regular line drive abilities with flashes of gap pop.
