1/26/19 Pitching
Body Type: 6-foot-1, 164-pound projectable, athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Southpaw on the mound with a slower paced tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. Torso angle he creates allows him to really hide the ball until release. Quick arm that should see more strength.
Fastball: 73-76 mph. Good spin with late life. The fact he can hide the ball so well makes the pitch play up velo wise.
Curveball: 63-65 mph. 1/7 spinner that grades out as an above average offering for class. Sharp action with later bite to it.
Changeup: 64-67 mph. Still developing feel for the offering with a tendency to bury the pitch. Stuff wise the pitch is more than playable.
Pitchability: Looks confident with fastball/breaking ball.
Role: Has frame/athleticism to be a starter. How changeup or third pitch develops will likely determine future role.
1/30/18
A first baseman that plays low and under control off the bag. Hands are soft and glove looks reliable. Looks to be a solid defender. At the plate the right shows a compact, line drive swing. Barrel displays some whip as it travels on a mostly level path. Works through an inside out approach, spraying balls to the opposite field. Does a nice job of making deep contact without sacrificing bat speed. A line drive swing in general with more to come. On the bump the southpaw has a lower paced tempo that he can repeat. Delivery is athletic and shows good rhythm. Offers three pitches through a ¾ slot. Fastball works downhill with some late cut at 73-76 mph. Breaking ball is sharp with late bite on a 2/8 plane at 61-64 mph. Changeup has similar action to his fastball with the change of speed giving it a bigger look.

5/31/17
A left-handed pitching prospect with an athletic frame. Works exclusively from the stretch. A drop and drive type guy that creates solid energy with his lower half. Arm works well through a high-¾ slot with developing arm speed. Was consistently in the zone with his 67-69 mph fastball that had slight run at times. Complements his fastball with his 60-62 mph curveball. The breaker as a near 12/6 shape with big downward action. Needs to be more consistently in the zone with the offering moving forward.
