Very projectable frame with long limbs and a high waist. Frame has a ton of room to support added strength. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a short stride for timing while hands stay simple throughout loading sequence. Hands are quick, accelerating the barrel through the zone on a slightly downhill path to contact. A line drive guy who flashed gap abilities to pull side. At first base he moves off the bag with athletic feet and feel for the position. Also worked out behind the dish. Glove works well and he looks to be sure-handed over there. Starts in a mid crouch before exploding out of his stance with quicker footwork. Tends to fade to third base line during exchange. Exchange has urgency to it before using a lower than traditional arm spot for the position. At this stage he has projects as better defender at first base.
