Began in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then used a small leg kick. Had efficient bat speed, simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 73 mph; shows a natural exchange, sure hands, and consistent feet. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.83. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2290; Avg 2127). Showed a 11/5 curveball with some sweeping action. (Max spin 1980; Avg 1980).
Dan Miller: 3B/RHP, (2026) Medina Highland, OH. 5-foot-11, 205-pound physical athletic frame. (60.7 mph bat speed average). (19.0 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small toe tap stride. Bat speed was electric, displayed a short uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Aggressive approach. Projectable capable while in the infield, made throws up to 72 mph; has soft sure hands, smooth feet, and a clean exchange. Laterally, movements were average and fielded the ball out front. Had a longer arm action and a high ¾ slot with some accuracy to the bag. Confident on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used an over-the-top arm angle with a longer arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed athletic balance point and even shoulders. Lands open with balanced finish. (Max spin 2055; Avg 1972).
