Drew Erdmann: RHP/1B, (2023) Walsh Jesuit, OH. Cincinnati Commit, 6-foot-4, 210-pound. Solid on the mound, showing quick arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Showed consistent balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands soft with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 87-88 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2086; Avg 1975). Threw a 11/5 curveball (71-72) with slight sweeping action. (Max spin 2202; Avg 2133). He shows slight fading action on his changeup (75-76).
Drew Erdmann: RHP/1B, (2023) Walsh Jesuit, OH. 6-foot-3, 200-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, Erdmann had a max exit velocity of 96 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed is average and has a level rotational swing plane. Athletic in the infield, his best throw was registered at 84 mph; has athletic feet, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with twitchy movement laterally. Used a quick arm action to the bases. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.19. On the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a quick arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Athletic balance point. Produced a fastball that came in at 86-89 mph; has consistent command and running action. Shows a 11/5 curveball (72-74) with plus action. His changeup (72-74) showed fading action and arm side control.

Delivery Notes: Using all of his 6-foot-1 frame on the mound. Consistently repeats mechanics in his delivery allowing him to be consistent in the zone and taking stress off the arm.
Fastball: Topped at 82 mph, impressive velo for a 2023 that is only going to continue to trend upward.
Curveball: Between 64-68 mph, good spin, signs of sharpness, pitch shows potential.
Changeup: 64-67 mph, decent sell.
