Drew Stangelo: C, (2023) Hoover,. 5-foot-10, 175-pound. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 90 mph. Began in an athletic stance with a quick load, then used a controlled stride. Has quick bat speed, simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. While catching, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 78 mph; had consistent footwork, sure hands, and a clean transfer. displayed his ability to control the run game with a pop time of 1.97-2.08. Calm setup with some flexibility. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.29.
Drew Stangelo: C/2B, (2023) Hoover High School, OH. 5-foot-10, 175-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 92 mph. Started in an athletic active stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed is quick, has an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. While catching, his strong arm produced efficient throws to second at velocities up to 79 mph; has sure hands, a clean transfer, and consistent feet. Some flexibility and calm setup. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. Ran a 3.99 30 yard dash.

Hit: An upright stance from the right side with a simple load that creates regular timing. A level path to the ball which causes varied ball flight from floor to ceiling.
Power: 74 mph exit velocity off the tee. Line drive pop
Offensive Projection: Table setter
Field: Relaxed behind the plate lets the ball travel and has a good quick release. Move well laterally and in while in the infield. Shows good glove presentation not having to stabb at the ball last minute.
Throw: POP between 1.79-2.06 with 74 mph from the crouch. 74 mph across the infield
Defensive Projection: UTL.
