Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Displays downhill shoulders with a tall balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. Threw his fastball 83-85 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2026; Avg 1941). Showed a 11/5 curveball (74-75) with slurvey action. (Max spin 1867; Avg 1791). His changeup (71-74) has slight fading action.
Dylan Rouse: RHP/3B, (2023) Canton Central Catholic, OH. 6-foot-3, 160-pound lean frame. At the plate, Rouse clocked an exit velocity of 81 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a quick load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was efficient, used a flat swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 83 mph; had firm hands, a twitchy exchange, and choppy consistent footwork. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a ¾ slot and a long arm action. Recorded a time of 7.47 in the 60-yard dash. Solid on the mound, had quick arm speed and threw from a ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Curveball (69-71 mph), changeup (68-72 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 80-82 mph.
