Eli Delgado: OF/RHP, (2023) Wauseon, OH. 5-foot-11, 150-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 86 mph. (68.31 mph bat speed average). (25.30 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced open stance with a controlled load, then uses a toe tap stride. Bat speed is quick, shows a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 79 mph; has a natural exchange, soft hands, and fluid quick feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.17. On the mound, showing some arm speed he had a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Threw his fastball 75-76 mph. Has late action. (Max spin 1707; Avg 1627). His 11/5 curveball (66-67) showed slurvey action. (Max spin 1782; Avg 1319). His changeup (66-67) has slight action.
