A talented unsigned senior that would be a solid, late addition to a college roster. His skill set at the plate fits just about anywhere in the lineup. Wentz has impressive bat speed through the zone with the ability to drive the ball into the gaps. Ran a sub 4.2 to first base, was 86 mph off the tee, and showed 85 mph arm strength from the outfield. Approaches the ball in controlled, aggressive manner. Maintains momentum after receiving the ball. Quick transfer with carry to his throw.

5-foot-7, 140-pound thin build with room to fill. From the outfield he showed athletic feet to work with, but could be a little more aggressive playing through the baseball. He threw from a ¾ slot reaching a top velocity of 80 mph. Left-handed hitter starts from a very open hitting stance getting back to even. Showed the ability to use both sides of the field. Contact type hitter that will gain more power from adding strength to his frame. He ran a 4.51 from home to first base.
