Body Type: 5-foot-9, 200-pound physical frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Sits back and drives with the lower half but still more in the tank. Longer arm action that reaches back and whips forward.
Fastball: 80-82mph. Slight glove side movement on the offering that is consistently in the zone. Shows potential to locate within the zone.
Curveball: 71-72mph. Late break on a 11/5 plane that can locate in the zone consistently. Paired with a harder slider at 75-76mph on a 10/4 plane.
Changeup: 70-71mph. Slight arm side drop out of the same slot as the fastball. Keeps hitters off balance.
Pitchability: In the zone consistently with all pitches.
Additional Notes:
Body Type: 5-foot-9, 200-pound physical frame.
Swing Mechanics: Closed stance with a simple load that has minimal movement. Keeps his hands loaded through contact.
Hit: Level bat path with a pull side approach. Swings with intent. Good feel in the box.
Power: Present gap abilities. 84.5 mph off the bat in BP.
Offensive Projection: Definitley has some tools in there. Needs cleaned up a bit but flashed run producer traits.
Field: In the outfield he plays with very quick, aggressive feet. Shows a two-handed play through with ball skills on par for class.
Throw: Accurate arm with solid strength.
Defensive Projection: TBD.
Body Type: 5-foot-9, 200-pound physical frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Good rhythm to a delivery that requires some effort. Arm is clean coming through a near over the top slot. Very efficient lower half.
Fastball: 83-86 mph. High spin rate guy, making velo play up.
Curveball: Spins it well at 73-75 mph with late, sharp action. Used the offering as the put away pitch.
Pitchability: Strike thrower for the most part.
Additional Comments: The combination of him being below 6-foot and high spin rate makes him almost unhittable when he was at the top of the zone.
