Begins in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a controlled leg kick. Has average bat speed, loose upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Athletic in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 74 mph; had sure hands, consistent athletic footwork, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.15.

Begins in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed was quick, showed a loose level swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 79 mph; shows a natural exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Clocked a time of 7.28 in the 60-yard dash.

Gage Weaver: SS/3B, (2023) Ontario, OH. 6-foot-2, 175-pound projectable frame. Projectable in the box, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 89 mph. Begins in an open stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed was above average, had a flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Gap to gap approach. Projectable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 77 mph; has sure soft hands, a natural exchange, and athletic fluid feet. Movements laterally were athletic. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.56.
Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in a tall, open stance. Squares back up through a controlled stride for timing. Hands are loose prior to launch, generating a slightly downhill barrel entry into the zone. Worked through a middle back approach in BP, consistently backspinning the ball to both gaps. Line drives were a regular occurence in BP. In game he was able to see spin well/adjust to different velocities. Talented player to keep an eye on.

Hit:Solid round for such a young prospect. Loose, qhippy stroke that will only get more explosive as he fills out that athletic frame. Squared up everything in BP.
Power: Line drive guy with more to come.

Field: Rangy defender with athletic actions. Everything looks easy. Solid defender for class.
Throw: Clean arm with much more strength to come.
