Path is level and barrel gets in and out of the zone quickly. More pop to his pull side at this stage. Much better when weight shifts into contact as he has a tendency to leave weight on his back side. From behind the dish, he sets up in a shoulder width stance using a jab step forward creating momentum towards second base. Hands and glove work together in his transfer. Goes straight back to his ear and uses short arm action. Arm strength is average at this stage.
