Began in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, had a loose level swing plane and balanced finish. While catching, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 71 mph; shows sure hands, consistent feet, and a natural transfer. consistently had pop times of 2.00-2.09. Quiet setup with some flexibility. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a compact arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 1985; Avg 1755). Has late action on his 10/4 slider. (Max spin 1997; Avg 1665).

During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.83. Projectable on the mound, showed a long loose arm action and an over-the-top arm angle with quick arm speed.
