On the mound Smith has a smaller frame and throws with an athletic delivery. He shows a quick arm from a ¾ arm slot. His fastball sat between 74-77 mph and showed some late life. His breaking ball showed some potential and some bite while sitting 63-64 mph. At the plate Smith is a right handed hitter who uses a leg kick to begin his load. He has an uphill bat path leading to mostly contact in the air. He finishes very aggressively and is predominately rotational in how he generates bat speed. In the outfield he plays fast with aggressive feet. Shows average ball skills through fielding with urgency to transfer. Quick transfer makes arm strength play up. LF/CF type.
