Ian Busch: RHP/OF, (2024) Ross High School, OH. 5-foot-11, 175-pound. (67.4 mph bat speed average). (20.6 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic strong stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Has a loose level swing plane, quick bat speed and balanced finish. Solid recorded an outfield position velocity of 79 mph; had a natural exchange, soft hands, and consistent footwork. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2110; Avg 2069). Shows slurvey action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 1929; Avg 1825). Has late action on his 10/4 slider. (Max spin 2100; Avg 2030).
