Ian Kichurchak: 3B/1B, (2022) Buckeye, OH. 6-foot, 200-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 94 mph. (74.36 mph bat speed average). (22.81 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a leg kick stride. Bat speed is explosive, uses a simple upward swing plane and high good extension on his finish. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 80 mph; had consistent fluid footwork, soft hands, and a natural exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. Clocked a time of 7.3 in the 60-yard dash. .

At the plate, Kichurchak was ranked 1st with an exit velocity of 99 mph.Starts in an open athletic stance with a high quick load, then uses a small leg kick. Had a level swing plane and quick bat speed. Athletic in the infield, displayed a velocity of 83 mph; has athletic feet, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a quick arm action on his throws. Ran a 4.09 30 yard dash.
Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright setup. Fluid mover in the box who incorporates efficient pre-launch movements with good tempo. Physical bat that worked inside the baseball nicely. Gap to gap pop.
Power:Respectable juice. Showed the ability to back up outfielders in BP.
Offensive Projection: Middle potential.

Field:Corner skill set in the infield. Plays low and under control throughout sequence. Hands are above average. Looks like a guy who can play 1B/3B based on team need.
Throw:3/4 righty with some jump out of the hand.

2/17/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Fluid mechanical delivery with effortless release. Shows good separation and consistent ¾ arm action. Fastball: Heavy through the zone topping 77mph. Curveball: 12/6 break with above average depth and average bite at 60-63 mph. Changeup: Shows arm side sink at times, has potential. 2/17/20 Position Player Hit: Righty swinger with an efficient loading sequence. Balanced launch with a mostly level path. Physical hitter with an above average combination of strength and speed to swing. Power: 90 mph tee exit velocity, flashed gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Field: Plays smooth and with fluidity defensively. Shows good footwork with average ball skills. Throw: Comes out well through a ¾ arm slot. Registered 76 mph across the diamond. Defensive Projection: Corner infield.

Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in an balanced stance. Goes with a leg kick for timing as hands stay quiet through load and into launch.
Hit: Aggressive swinger with obvious physicality and respectable bat speed. Swing has some loft which allows him to lift naturally. Ball came off well in BP.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity. Physical kid with jump off the barrel. Present gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Middle of Lineup.
Run: 4.57 H-1st.
Field: A first baseman that plays with feel and confidence. Moves off the bag well, showing above average lateral mobility. Solid showing in workout.
Throw: 71 mph arm strength across the diamond. Arm plays at the position.
Defensive Projection: 1B.
2/2/19 Pitching
Body Type: 5-foot-10, 180 pound physical frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Has a ¾ arm slot release with some fluidity in his arm action up to release. Mechanically moved well with an even tempo.
Fastball: 73-77 mph. Exhibited a stronger arm for his class and commanded it in the zone. Sat 75-76 mph later in his outing.
Curveball: 56-62 mph. Average break to it with a higher looping 10-5 action.
Changeup: 67-69 mph. Developing as he continues to work on release points further.
Pitchability: Has a strong arm which will progress as he gets older these next few years. Off-speed pitches thrown more will improve grip and consistency.
