Found lots of barrels through his rounds. Pull side approach. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 83 mph. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.9. Projectable on the mound, showing good arm speed he used an over-the-top arm angle with a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Began in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, uses a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 81 mph; had consistent footwork, soft hands, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.16. On the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action with consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 77-80 mph. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 2010; Avg 1890). His changeup (72-73) showed some fading action.

Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled stride. Has a simple upward swing plane, flashed quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. Solid from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 79 mph; had consistent footwork, soft hands, and a clean exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. Clocked a time of 7.38 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Shows some action on his 11/5 curveball (68-69). He shows slight action on his changeup (70-73).

5-foot-11, 141-pound slim frame. Raw in the box, Blakely recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was average, and showed a level swing plane. Line drive approach. Athletic in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 74 mph; showed athletic choppy feet, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Recorded a 60 time of 7.49 at the event. On the mound, curveball (61-66 mph), changeup (69-71 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 75-77 mph.
