Jackson Wang: OF, (2023) Archbishop McNicholas, OH. 6-foot-1, 193-pound. At the plate, Wang recorded an exit velocity of 93 mph. (70.0 mph bat speed average). (19.5 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is flashed quick, shows a simple uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 82 mph; shows consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.81.
Hit:2022 out of the state of Indiana. Smooth, efficient load that leads to a balanced launch. Aggressive swinger with physicality to stroke. Accelerates well. Ball jumps when squared.
Power:Gap to gap abilities.
Offensive Projection:Middle ceiling.
Field:Fluid footwork in his approach with soft hands and above average ball skills in play through.
Throw:Loose arm with jump out of the hand and he should easily gain velocity with physical maturation.
Defensive Projection: Multiple spots.
Scouting Notes: Two-way prospect who put together a solid showing as a position guy then hopped on the mound and showed hes interesting there as well. Quick-armed southpaw whos arm really works. Fastball was heavier than velo suggested and breaking ball was tight.

Indian Creek High School, Class of 2022; 5-foot-11, 145-pound OF/LHP. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter’s best exit velocity was 77 mph. Starts in a balanced and slightly crouched stance; uses a small load and a leg kick. He hits off his back foot and has a slightly uphill swing plane. In the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 78 mph. Attacks the ball with a purpose; showes good body control and athletic actions. Used a high ¾ arm slot to make accurate throws. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.46. On the mound, he pitches from the stretch and shows flexibility in his arm. Does a good job using his scaps to generate extra velocity. Located all pitches for strikes and kept hitters guessing; showed strikeout ability. His fastball came in at 74-76 mph and topped out at 76 mph. Located his curveball for a strike at 64-65 mph.
