Jacob Dameron: RHP/1B, (2022) Middletown, OH. 6-foot-2, 165-pound. On the mound, showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses easy effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Changeup (72-73 mph). Sat with his fastball at 76-78 mph; shows running action and arm side control. Threw a 11/5 curveball (66-67) with gradual action. Shows a sharp slider with sweeping action.

Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses some effort. Has a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 78-80 mph; has running action and arm side command. Shows gradual action on his 11/5 curveball (66-67). His changeup (75-78) showed fading action and arm side command.
Scouting Notes: Very projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 165-pounds. Rolls through his fluid delivery using a high leg lift into a tall/fall loading sequence down the hill. Arm works well through a high-3/4 slot with compact action. Strike thrower with good spin. Definite follow for when he adds physicality to frame.
Fastball: 75-77mph.

Hit: Tall vertical athletic narrow stance with good weight transition throughout stance. Long swing with a level bat path through zone.
Power: 82mph exit velo with a max distance of 200 feet.
Offensive Projection: Contact hitter that drives up the middle and pull side.
Field: Gets off bag well with a good feel for the position.
Throw: 71mph infield velo.
Defensive Projection: 1B.
2/23/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: A high leg kick with a gradual build to his release point. A smooth and explosive high ¾ arm action that will be one to keep an eye on as it develops.
Fastball: 70-74mph with a 1500-1700rpm Spin rate on Rapsodo that works down hill towards the batter.
Curveball: 60-63mph with a 2000-2200rpm spin rate on Rapsodo with good 11-5 movement on it. Bends in CB's for K's
Changeup: 66-68mph CH has late dive
