: RHP/3B, (2023) North Ridgeville, OH. 6-foot-5, 215-pound. Solid on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action while showing quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Has a tall balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 86-88 mph. (Max spin 2280; Avg 2025). His 11/5 curveball (72-74) has some sweeping action. (Max spin 1857; Avg 1811). He has slight fading action on his changeup (74-77).
Jake Boynar: RHP/3B, (2023) North Ridgeville, OH. 6-foot-5, 210-pound. Solid on the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Showed tall balance point and downhill shoulders. Lands square with balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 86-88 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2065; Avg 2026). His changeup (78-81) showed some action. Shows tight late action on his 10/4 slider (76-78). (Max spin 1819; Avg 1819).
2/2/20 Position Player
Hit:Swings it from the right side, using a leg kick timing trigger with slight back load to hands. COmpacts wing on a mostly level path. Natural tools are developing. Can get around the ball at times but showed natural ball flight to the middle of the field.
Power: Line drive guy with more to come.
Offensive Projection: TBD.
Field: Rangy defender that has a third baseman look to him. Moves well for frame and shows ball skills that appear to be serviceable.
Throw: Long arm action that will support added strength.
Defensive Projection:Corner guy.
