Behind the plate, his best throw downs of the day reached a max velocity of 71 mph; has consistent feet, soft hands, and a fluid transfer. he had a pop time of 2.10-2.21. Some flexibility and clean setup. Used a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. Recorded a time of 7.99 in the 60-yard dash.
Jamin Sawyer: C/OF, (2024) Fairfield, OH. 6-foot-2, 170-pound. Projectable in the box, Sawyer recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a slow load, then used a small leg kick. Had a loose level swing plane, above average bat speed and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels through his round. Gap to gap approach. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 70 mph. Behind the plate, he made throws to second at velocities up to 70 mph; recorded pop times of 2.09-2.19.
