Jaxon Hicks: OF/LHP, (2025) Little Miami, OH. 5-foot-6, 120-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 68 mph. (50.05 mph bat speed average). (19.45 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a controlled toe tap stride. Bat speed was developing, used a flat swing plane and level finish. Athletic in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 77 mph; has sure developing hands, quick athletic feet, and a clean exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed a quick arm action on his throws. On the mound, used a quick loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Sat with his fastball at 70-72 mph; showed arm side command and running action. (Max spin 1953; Avg 1917).
