Begins in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, displayed a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 83 mph; had consistent footwork, soft hands, and a natural exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Sat with his fastball at 76-78 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2103; Avg 1973). Throws a 10/4 slider (62-65) with late action.
