Tossed two scoreless innings for Team Ohio, shutting down the opposing hitters with ease. Showed impressive command of all three offerings w/breaking ball north of 2300rpms. Type of arm who’s going to continue to add velocity. Has consistently been 85-87 mph in the spring/early summer.

Jayden Jerger: RHP/1B, (2022) Defiance, OH. 6-foot-1, 180-pound righty. Athletic on the mound, showing quick arm speed while using a loose arm action through a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher. Lands square with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 85-87 mph; shows late action and very consistent command. Curveball in the low to mid 70s with nice shape and a good spin rate around 2400. The change has fading action on it while sitting in the mid to upper 70s.
