Jeremy Soppel: RHP, (2023) Twinsburg, OH. 5-foot-11, 185-pound. Solid on the mound, showed some arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle with a quick arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Has a consistent balance point and in line shoulders. Lands square with recoil finish. Threw his fastball 80-82 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2015; Avg 1909). Throws a 11/5 curveball (71-72) with some action. (Max spin 2322; Avg 2284). His changeup (75-75) has slight fading action. His 10/4 slider (73-75) showed late action. (Max spin 2229; Avg 2199).
Jeremy Soppel: RHP/1B, (2023) Twinsburg, OH. 5-foot-10, 165-pound. Solid at the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 82 mph. Began in an open stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, displayed a level swing plane and level finish. Through his round he found some barrels. Line drive approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 71 mph; has consistent sure hands, choppy quick feet, and a natural fluid exchange. When fielding he gathers the ball out front. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.8. Solid on the mound, had a long arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with good arm speed. Feel type pitcher who uses easy effort. Displays in line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. Curveball (63-65 mph), changeup (70-71 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 77-80 mph.
