Kaden Patten: RHP, (2024) Western Brown, OH. RHP Commit, 6-foot-4, 180-pound. Solid on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a longer arm action while showing consistent arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed tall balance point with even shoulders. Has slight running action. He shows some fading action on his changeup. Shows late action on his 10/4 slider.
Kaden Patten: RHP/C, (2024) Western Brown, OH. 6-foot-3, 165-pound. Solid on the mound, showing quick arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Tall balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands soft with balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 76-78 mph with a max of 81 mph; Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1973; Avg 1932). Showed a 11/5 curveball (66-67) with some action. (Max spin 1692; Avg 1653). He shows deceiving action on his splitter (62-63).
Kaden Patten: C, (2024) Western Brown, OH. 6-foot-2, 155-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 81 mph. Begins in an athletic tall stance with a compact load, then uses a controlled stride. Has an uphill swing plane, efficient bat speed and a back foot finish. Movements laterally were athletic. While catching, throw downs to second topped out at 68 mph; showed sure hands, developing feet, and a natural exchange. Consistently had pop times of 2.19-2.25. Staggered setup with some flexibility. Showed a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action.
