Bat speed was explosive, used an uphill loose swing plane and a back foot finish. Found lots of barrels through his round. Gap to gap line drive approach. In the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 80 mph. Recorded a time of 7.73 in the 60-yard dash. Smooth athletic on the mound, used a long consistent arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses some effort. Showed athletic balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands square with recoil an athletic finish. (Max spin 1886; Avg 1716).
