Keaton Rogers: 1B/RHP, (2024) Pickerington North, OH. 6-foot-3, 185-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 83 mph. (67.0 mph bat speed average). (23.1 mph hand speed average). Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 81 mph; has sure hands, consistent feet, and a natural exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.16 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Threw his fastball 77-81 mph. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 2104; Avg 2076). His 11/5 curveball (59-65) has slurvey action. (Max spin 1873; Avg 1770). His changeup (66-67) has fading action.
Hit: Projectable bat from the right side. Long lever type who can do damage when he gets extended. Ball jumped when squared.
Power: Gap pop.
Offensive Projection: Middle ceiling.

Max BP Distance: 206ft.
Field: Plays with an aggressive tempo and confident play through in the outfield. Ball skills appear to be above average for class. Solid showing.
Throw: Above average arm for class.
Defensive Projection: Multiple spots.
Scouting Notes: Obvious projectability on the mound here. 6-foot-2, 2024 mound prospect with above average arm strength/speed through class. Arm travels through a 3/4 slot which gives some heavy run to fastball that sat in the mid 70s. Both changeup and breaking ball showed potential. Changeup has some sharper down action while breaking ball darts across the zone with later break.
