Starts in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed is flashed, uses a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 82 mph; showed sure hands, a natural exchange, and quick feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.35.   

Konner Daughriety: 3B/RHP, (2024) Mount Vernon, OH. 6-foot-2, 210-pound. Started in a balanced crouched stance with a controlled long load, then used a leg kick. Has above average bat speed, uphill swing plane and low finish. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 79 mph. Clocked a 60 time of 7.28 at the event. Athletic confident on the mound, showed quick arm speed, he had an over-the-top arm angle and a short quick arm action. Slow-tempo tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows some effort. He has downhill shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square with a clean finish.  (Max spin 1817; Avg 1620).

Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled leg kick. Bat speed was flashed present, displayed a loose upward swing plane and good extension on his balanced finish. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 75 mph; shows consistent feet, sure hands, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.34 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 80-84 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1402; Avg 1188). His 11/5 curveball (65-66) shows late action. (Max spin 1692; Avg 1582). His changeup (74-75) shows slight fading action. 

Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Goes with a double tap for timing with rhythmic back load to hands.
Hit: Vertical barrel launch gives him a running start into contact to add to his already above average bat speed. Slightly downhill stroke with heavy hands at contact. Gets into it when squared.
Power: Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer.
Field: In the infield he plays with controlled feet and quiet actions. Plays under control throughout sequence. Hands are soft and ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: Accurate arm with respectable strength.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Lands open with lower half causing arm to get away from body. Low 3/4 arm action with a competitor presence.

Fastball: 71-74mph. Arm side movement going right at the batter. Locates on both sides of the plate with a come and get me attitude.

Curveball: 58-61mph. 1/5 movement with more depth over action. Used when ahead in the count. Needs to be in the zone more consistently.

Changeup:

Pitchability: Strike thrower.
