(21.7 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then used a controlled small leg kick. Bat speed is explosive, uses a simple uphill swing plane and balanced good extension on his finish. Ran a 4.32 30 yard dash.
Kyan Barnes: 3B/RHP, (2023) Twinsburg, OH. 6-foot-2, 210-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 94 mph. Setup consists of a balanced stance and a toe tap. Had above average bat speed and had good extension on his finish. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 78 mph; has a clean exchange, sure hands, and consistent feet. Used a ¾ slot and a loose arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.88. Solid on the mound, showing some arm speed he had a ¾ arm angle and a long arm action.
