Kyle Callahan: SS/OF, (2023) Brunswick, OH. 5-foot-9, 170-pound. During batting practice, Callahan had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, shows a short simple swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 76 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and soft hands. Solid his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 84 mph; had sure hands, consistent footwork, and a natural exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Ran a 3.97 30 yard dash.

Starts in a balanced tall stance with a controlled load, then uses a toe tap stride. Bat speed is quick, shows a rotational swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 81 mph; has twitchy consistent hands, a clean exchange, and quick feet. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a loose long arm action and a high ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.46 at the event. .
