 LHP/OF, (2023) Sandusky Perkins, OH. 5-foot-9, 160-pound lean athletic build. Solid in the box, Kim's best exit velocity was 85 mph. (64.4 mph bat speed average). (19.0 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced open stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was quick, and showed an uphill swing plane. Line drive approach. Athletic in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 82 mph; had soft consistent hands, athletic fluid footwork, and a quick exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a quick loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.23 in the 60-yard dash. Solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used an over-the-top arm angle and a loose compact arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Threw his fastball 77-80 mph; showed command down in the zone and gradual sinking action with tight movement. (Max spin 2276; Avg 2172). Tight 12/6 curveball (65-66). (Max spin 2031; Avg 2005). His changeup (69-71) showed fading action.

Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, showed a loose uphill swing plane and balanced finish. Solid from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 85 mph; shows consistent feet, a natural exchange, and firm hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.0. On the mound, using a loose arm action he showed consistent arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher who uses easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 74-77 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1974; Avg 1859). His 1/7 curveball (66-68) shows slight sweeping action. (Max spin 1842; Avg 1801). He has some action on his changeup (68-69).

Landon Kim: OF/LHP, (2023) Perkins, OH. 5-foot-9, 140-pound lean frame. In the box, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. Began in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Had a flat swing plane, efficient bat speed and high finish. Solid his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 80 mph; shows developing feet, consistent hands, and a twitchy exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a long arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.33. Solid on the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a long arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Tall balance point with downhill shoulders. Has a clean finish. Curveball (69-72 mph), changeup (68-70 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 74-77 mph.
