Landon Lowery: SS/RHP, (2027) Huntington, OH. 5-foot-10, 140-pound. (62.6 mph bat speed average). (19.8 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced stance with a compact load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is efficient, uses a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 78 mph; has a natural exchange, choppy feet, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.62. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1960; Avg 1867). His 11/5 slider shows late action. (Max spin 2012; Avg 1990).
