5-foot-7, 215-pound prospect. A righty swinger that uses a toe turn to initiate loading sequence. Hands move back to launch before taking a downhill path to the ball. Stronger than he is fast with the bat. Worked well to the opposite side of the field. Would like to see him add rhythm to swing sequence. Starts in a higher crouch behind the plate. Showed quickness to his transfer on his throws to second base. Footwork is mechanically sound. Will need to speed up footwork moving forward. In the infield he takes direct routes to the baseball and fields the ball deep in the middle of his body. Moves well laterally for frame. Showed quickness to his transfer on plays to his forehand side.
