Begins in a balanced tall stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, uses a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 85 mph; showed consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.49. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 81-82 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1769; Avg 1622).
