Logan Vogelgesang: LHP/1B, (2022) Harrison, OH. 6-foot-3, 165-pound. In the box, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 86 mph. Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a leg kick. Had quick bat speed, upward swing plane and high finish. Solid from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 87 mph; had rhythmic footwork, a fluid exchange, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had an-over-the-top slot and a long arm action. Solid on the mound, used an over-the-top arm angle and a long arm action while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 75-80 mph. Shows running action. 1/7 curveball (63-64). He has late action on his changeup (71-72).
2/23/20 Position Player
Hit: Uses an upright stance in the box with a simple load to create normal timing. Uses his body well allowing his body to rotate properly creating proper force using the ground. Talking a slightly uphill path toward the ball creating varied ball flight.
Power: Line drive pop.
Top BP Exit Velocity: 82 mph.
Top BP Distance: 201 ft.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup.
Field: Moves well at first base, and has a quick transition getting rid of the baseball. Attacks the ball and is aggressive fielding with soft
hands. In the outfield he uses good footwork to work around the ball and puts himself in the best position to make plays.
Throw: 66 mph across the infield and 78 mph from the outfield.
Defensive Projection: Corner.

Delivery Notes: Uses his length to his advantage on the mound. Consistent mechanics on the mound easy to repeat.
Fastball: Topping at 77 mph with arm side run to the ball. High ¾ arm slot.

Curveball: Between 65-66 with 1/7 break and shape break.
Curveball Spin Rates: 1400-1600.
Changeup: 67-68 able to maintain arm speed and create a late fading action.
