A first baseman with the frame for the position. Showed feel for the spot, looking well versed over there. Gets off the bag with adequate lateral mobility while remaining under control. Glove looks to be an above average tool as well. Swings it from the right side starting in a balanced setup. Hands stay quiet during his short stride for timing. Path is slightly downhill with more natural strength than speed to hands at this stage. Swing is compact and he showed feel for the barrel. Middle of the lineup potential when bat speed catches up to strength.

A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a simple approach mechanically and takes a compact path to the baseball. A contact guy at this stage that has the natural tools to grow into a run producer role. Does a nice job of getting on plane and finding the barrel often. Flashed more pop to his pull side. Puts himself in athletic position to field the baseball upon approach. Uses an inside turn on feeds to second base rather than a glove side spin. Hands tend to have some stiffness. Throws come from a high ¾ slot.
