Lucas Swierk: SS/OF, (2022) Little Miami, OH. 183-pound athletic frame. In the box, Swierk recorded an exit velocity of 88 mph. Began in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is above average, exhibits a loose level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels through his rounds. Gap to gap approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 83 mph; shows athletic rhythmic feet, soft sure hands, and a natural exchange. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot.
Solid during batting practice, Swierk had an exit velocity of 90 mph. Starts in an athletic stance with a small controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was quick, and displayed a level swing plane. Found multiple barrels in his rounds. Line drive approach. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 84 mph; shows athletic feet, a fluid exchange, and sure hands. Solid in the outfield, he showed a plus arm and had life on his throws with a position velocity of 89 mph;has consistent hands, rhythmic feet, and a natural exchange.
