Ran a 7.68 60-yard dash. In the infield he reacts well off the bat, showing a quick first step. Glove works well and has fluidity to his transfer. Plays with obvious confidence and made all the plays in his defensive eval. Showcased 73 mph arm strength across the diamond. Impressed at the plate. Muise has a series of rhythmic, well timed movement prior to launch, creating a strong/balanced launch position. Path is level, showing present barrel jump/feel to all fields. The type of bat that can play a variety of roles inside an offense. Registered a top exit velocity of 78 mph. On the mound - The right-hander has a slower rhythm to a compact delivery. Some counter rotation of the upper body through the lift. Level shoulder and in-line through the stride. Arm action is long through a ¾ slot. True three pitch mix. Fastball shows regular arm side run sitting 72-75 mph. Adding weight to current frame could allow for future velocity improvement. Breaking ball was sharp at times sitting 61-64 mph on a 11/5 tilt. A right-handed hitter that starts in a slightly open setup. Very fluid loading sequence, where he incorporates a double tap with his lower half. Movements are well timed and sync his body efficiently. Path is level and he produced consistent line drives in batting practice. Any added strength with maturity will translate to added juice as swing is efficient. Showed some quickness to his footwork in the infield and did a nice job of staying low. Very quick transfer on his backhand plays. Needs to field the ball out in front of his body on plays in his funnel.
