SS/RHP, (2026) St Ignatius, OH. 5-foot-9, 140-pound athletic build. Capable during batting practice, Tekancic had a max exit velocity of 76 mph. (62.1 mph bat speed average). (20.7 mph hand speed average). Began in a crouched open stance with a handsy load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is explosive, shows a short upward swing plane and high finish. He found lots of barrels with some loud contact. Aggressive approach. Advanced while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 72 mph; had next level hands, consistent footwork, and a quick exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a very quick arm action and a ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 7.46 at the event.
