Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. He has downhill shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands open with recoil finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 81-83 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2069; Avg 1983). Shows slurvey action on his 11/5 curveball (71-72). (Max spin 2160; Avg 2057).
Martin Polonkay: RHP/3B, (2023) Amherst Steele, OH. 5-foot-11, 175-pound. Solid on the mound, showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Showed athletic balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. Threw his fastball 83-84 mph. Has slight running action. Curveball (68-72 mph), changeup (73-75 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 79-81 mph.
