2/18/18
5-foot-10, 195 pound catching prospect catches from a tall, wider stance and produces and effective, smooth ball to hand transfer. He showed average footwork behind the plate getting into his throwing position well. Caught the ball well displaying average receiving abilities. Position velocity ws 67 mph. Pop times recorded were 2.09-2.17 seconds. A righty swinger that starts in balanced setup. Uses a knee pinch to incorporate lower half as barrel flows to a vertical launch position. Movements are efficient and fluid prior to launch. A strong kid with above average bat speed through the zone. Ball jumps off his bat showing gap abilities to both sides, with his loft in swing allowing him to lift the ball naturally. Really liked what I saw from Clark in BP.

A 5-foot-10, 195-pound prospect. A switch hitter at the plate. Looks more natural from the left where he showed a nice, level path that produced consistent ball flight. Uses a similar mechanical approach from both sides. Natural tools are above average in general. Has the look of a future run producer as he matures. Behind the plate he starts in a higher crouch. Footwork is quick and creates direction. Exchange skills are average presently. Arm action fits the position.
