Micah Valdez: SS/2B, (2023) Oak hills, OH. 6-foot-1, 175-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. (64.7 mph bat speed average). (20.3 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced tall stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Has efficient bat speed, simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 80 mph; shows a natural exchange, consistent feet, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front.
