At the plate he stats open and gets back to even through a toe turn load and stride. Hands move back at pitch release and take downhill path to the baseball. Would like to see him flatten out to let his natural bat speed and strength show in his swing. Had a very impressive defensive workout at third base. Does a nice job with his footwork to create angles and field through the ball efficiently. Plays low and fields the ball out in front of his body. Has confidence to forehand and backhand.

5-foot-10, 180-pound solid build. Right-handed hitter that starts slightly open and spread out. Gets to even with a fluid load to get his hands back. Slightly up hill swing with some loft to it. Registered top exit velocity of 75 mph and ran 8.35-60. Over at third base with soft hands and fields the ball into his body. Clean transfer and throws from a high-3/4 slot with 72 mph arm strength across the diamond.
Young 5-foot-6, 140-pound medium sized body frame. From first-base he has the right idea with his footwork but it can improve by working on increasing foot speed, plays through ground balls at him, and shows a good glove. He throws with 56 mph velocity. Offensively, he starts with a wider set up, using a toe-tap for a timing mechanism, weight has a tendency to leak forward just a little bit. He reached a top exit velocity of 70 mph. He ran a 5.9 out of the box to first base.
