2/9/20 Position Player Hit: Simple swing mechanics at the dish. Starts out in an open stance prior to load sequence. Very quiet hands that explode on trigger. Generates a lot of lower half momentum. Power: Very present power. Good mix of speed and strength in the box. Impressive round of BP. Offensive Projection: Ideal 3-hole. Top Rapsodo BP Exit Velocity: 95 mph. Top Rapsodo BP Distance: 370 ft. Field: Above average glove skills for his class. Quick hands and solid footwork. Possible Shortstop at the next level. Throw: Fluid arm action through a slot. Ball comes out well. Already a strong arm with more strength in there as he utilizes his hips more. Defensive Projection: Left side of the infield.

Really liked what I saw from McNamara. Started at shortstop for a very talented St. Ignatius team this spring. Makes it look easy with the glove. Actions are fluid and ball skills are advanced. Fringy lateral mobility for the shortstop position at the next level. If he does slide over to third base he projects to be a well above average defender. At the plate he incorporates efficient movements to loading sequence, creating energy and balance. A strong kdi that can generate impressive pop with a lower effort swing. Will be playing for Team Ohio at the PBR Future Games.

At the plate he starts in a balanced setup. Uses an easy back leg during his short stride. Path is level to slightly uphill. His above average natural tools show in his swing. Barrel has some whip through the zone and the ball comes off his bat well. Showed gap to gap pop in general. In the infield he moves light on his feet and has some bounce to his first step. Glove skills are average to slightly above average. Actions are athletic and stays on the move.
