From the catcher’s position he has good, efficient footwork carrying his momentum in good direction toward second base on his throws. Has an ideal catcher’s arm slot reaching pop times between 2.31-2.53 and a top velocity of 63 mph. A switch hitter, with a compact swing from both sides of the plate. From the left side he starts from an open stance getting himself squared back up to even before he swings. Has a short, fluid load with his hands moving to his back shoulder and finishes with a two-handed follow through reaching a top exit velocity of 75 mph. Similar set up from the right side just a little less open. Showed the ability to use all parts of the field a little more from the right side, recording a top exit velocity of 76 mph. He ran a 7.42 60-yard dash.
