Mitchell Brockmeyer: 3B/C, (2022) New Albany, OH. 5-foot-8, 165-pound. During batting practice, Brockmeyer had a max exit velocity of 85 mph. Starts in an athletic balanced stance with a compact load, then uses a small leg kick. Has efficient bat speed, upward swing plane and high finish. Capable while in the infield, made throws up to 79 mph; had consistent footwork, a clean exchange, and sure hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. While catching, throw downs to second were maxed at 73 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Had a pop time of 2.12-2.20. Some flexibility and clean setup. Had a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.77.

A right-handed hitter at the plate that starts in a taller setup. Hands stays simple during leg kick timing trigger. In/out path through the zone with uphill tendencies. Swing offers more present strength than speed through the zone. Would be aided by leveling out path to produce more natural ball flight and open up the left part of the field. Good feel in there with enough tools to do damage when he connects. In the infield he attacks the baseball off the bat with aggressive feet. Arm plays on the left side, with his quick transfer and accuracy.
