Begins in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Has a simple upward swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.07. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, also used a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 78-81 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1812; Avg 1807). Had some sweeping action on his 10/4 curveball (64-68). (Max spin 1820; Avg 1797). His changeup (69-72) shows slight fading action.
