Nikolas Kyprianou: LHP/OF, (2024) Austintown Fitch, OH. 5-foot-10, 132-pound. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 88 mph. (63.3 mph bat speed average). (19.3 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, exhibits a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 81 mph; had sure hands, quick footwork, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.2. On the mound, using a loose arm action he showed consistent arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1946; Avg 1802). Had gradual action on his 1/7 curveball. (Max spin 2102; Avg 1857). Showed a 2/8 slider with late action. (Max spin 1853; Avg 1552).
