Body Type: 5-foot-11, 180-pounds.
Swing Mechanics: Wider stance with a simple hands and a leg kick timing trigger.
Hit: Sets an uphill plane for bat to travel through with his body during leg lift. Physical kid with some bat speed in there. Swing has some room to clean up but the natural tools are there to do damage. Ball comes off very well when squared.
Power: Has some definite jump off the barrel. Gap Abilities. 84 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer ceiling.
Run: 7.35 60-yard dash.
Field: Mechanically sound with solid ball skills. Plays under control too and through.
Throw: Long back arm action through near over the top slot. Ball comes out well. Average to slightly above average strength. 83 mph to home plate.
Defensive Projection: Corner frame and skill set.
2/9/19 Pitching
Body Type: 5-foot-11, 180-pounds. Physical build.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Presented an arm action that can get through his release with more fluidity out of a higher ¾ arm slot. Has a more upbeat tempo in his motion and can benefit by getting more use from his entire body as he works downhill.
Fastball: 79-82 mph. Nice movement on the pitch with arm-side run while coming out of his hand smoothly after release. Strike thrower on this pitch.
Curveball: 66-69 mph. Displayed some sharper bite to it with some depth out of his hand. Breaking action came across the plate with 10-4 movement.
Pitchability: Threw well at his outing showing tools that will progress over the next two years. Threw strikes for the most part overall with off-speed improving. More effective with his pitches out of the stretch.
Role: Bullpen.
